British Grand Prix winner Lewis Hamilton said after the race that he “really wanted to do it” for the local fans, who once again flocked to Silverstone in great numbers last weekend. With no less than 140 000 people packed in the grandstands and around the circuit, the race proved to be another successful event and crowned a popular victor after a cracking contest on track. Who says Formula One is in decline?
