Lewis Hamilton's first F1 win came on this day in 2007, at the Canadian Grand Prix.
It was the young McLaren's drivers sixth race and a natural progression as he had finished on the podium in the previous five.
The win put Hamilton ahead in the world championship by eight points from team mate Fernando Alonso.
"I have to dedicate this win to my dad - without him this wouldn't have been possible," said the 22-year-old back then.
