Jean Alesi has been appointed by the Circuit Paul Ricard as its new Ambassador and advisor.
The popular Frenchman and former Ferrari driver is involved in the development of the track and its activities, and will represent Paul Ricard to drivers and motorsport members worldwide.
"I am very happy to represent the Paul Ricard," said Alesi whose career in Grand Prix racing spanned thirteen years.
"This circuit is special for me: I made here my first steps in racing at Winfield school and I started my first Grand Prix in 1989 (pictured) at the wheel of the Tyrrell 018.
"This place is symbolic for me and I am very proud to represent it."
