Felipe Massa is recovering from the illness which prevented the Williams driver from racing in the Hungarian GP, just before the summer break.
The 36-year-old is back in Brazil with his family for the holidays but is slowly ramping up his training before returning to action at the end of the month in Spa.
And there's no better way to get back in to the groove than a day of karting at Interlagos, like Massa said on his Instagram account.
"Great feeling getting back on track!" he wrote. "I feel good."
