It's that time of year when Twitter and Instagram are alive with the photos and selfies of Formula 1 luminaries enjoying their winter holidays. Here's Haas driver Romain Grosjean enjoying himself against a spectacular backdrop near Geneva, where he was born and lives with his wife Marion and their two children.

With no more time in a Formula 1 car until February, he's keeping himself race fit by exchanging Pirelli tyres for Rossignol skies. He's promised to film some of his downhill runs using a new GoPro camera, so watch out for that in the next few days.

Grosjean also took time out this week to pay homage to France's biggest rock star, Johnny Hallyday, who died on Tuesday aged 74. Grosjean tweeted: "Un monument qui s'en va, mais la légende est éternelle."
