Like everyone else, the Toro Rosso team has been signing off on the year with its staff Christmas party this week!

Drivers Pierre Gasly and Brendon Hartley were on hand to join in the fun and festive celebrations with the rest of the team's staff and engineers. After this they'll break up for a proper rest over Christmas and New Year, making sure they're fully rested for 2018.

It's been something of a tumultuous year for the team. Carlos Sainz has departed for new challenges at Renault, and the squad also decided to ditch Daniil Kvyat after the end of the European leg of the season.

But how it has too new hungry young drivers taking over at the wheel and determined to prove themselves next year. They'll also have a new engine supplier, although it remains to be see if Honda can deliver where Renault wasn't able to.

But for now all such thoughts are for the future. The team and drivers are able to simply let their hair down and enjoy the moment.
