As he puts his recent off-track issues on social media to rest, Lewis Hamilton spent a week in Japan, snowboarding with a few heavy weights while prepping for the season ahead, courtesy of sponsor Monster Energy.
The Brit was joined on his trip to Hokkaido Island by famous snowboarders Kevin Backstrom, Tor Lundstrom and Halldor Helgason.
"It was so good to be able to go on a trip like this at start of 2018," Hamilton said.
"It was so enjoyable to hang out with some incredible athletes and push my skills on a board – the perfect preparation for the F1 season ahead."
