Robert Kubica turns 34 today but it's likely the Polish driver celebrated his birthday early after sealing his full-time return with Williams recently.
As a young hopeful in the junior categories shooting for the stars, Kubica was one of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg's most feared opponents, especially in wheel-to-wheel combat in which Bobby K excelled.
Rosberg has retired from active F1 duty, but Hamilton is more than happy to see the Williams returnee return to the fray.
"He was always one of the most talented drivers that I had the pleasure of racing against," said Ham.
"I know he has had a really difficult time over the last God knows how many years now and it’s great to see he’s got the opportunity.
"I hope he works hard on his strength and getting his mind back into gear like he was in the past and I think it’s exciting for the sport to see him back in action."
