It took F1 legend Ayrton Senna eight attempts to secure victory on home soil in 1991. What’s more, that long-awaited maiden Brazilian Grand Prix win came after Senna lost several gears and suffered muscle cramps that nearly prevented him from hoisting the winner’s trophy on the podium.
