No veggie burger for beefy Bottas!

Lewis Hamilton gets his protein from plants, but Valtteri Bottas isn't ready to go green.

Hamilton announced this week his endeavor into a vegan burger chain, but as far as his Mercedes teammate is concerned, it's not a real burger if it's not real meat!

After a hard day's work at Spa on Friday - and to celebrate both his birthday and his new contract with the Silver Arrows squad - Bottas teamed up with Finnish TV chef Akseli Herlevi to concoct and serve up his very own 'Bottas burger' to his Mercedes family.

It was a delicious course, but Lewis might well have a weight advantage over his teammate come qualifying…

He also authored "The American Legacy in Formula 1", a book which recounts the trials and tribulations of American drivers in Grand Prix racing. Phillip is also a commentator for Belgian broadcaster Be.TV for the US Indycar series.
