When Prost became ‘The Professor’

Happy birthday to four-time F1 world champion Alain ‘The Professor’ Prost, who turns 61 on this day. The Frenchman is pictured above in Buenos Aires during his maiden grand prix start. Prost immediately made an impression by taking the fragile McLaren M29 to a sixth-place finish, which earned him his first championship point. And the rest, as they say, is history.
