George Russell is sporting a specially designed helmet for this weekend's British Grand Prix as part of an NFT auction by the Mercedes team that will benefit several charities.
Created by British digital artist MBSJQ, Russell's lid is paired with one of three exclusive NFTs produced for the Brackley squad.
Called 'Evolution', the specific token associated with the one-off helmet, depicts a futuristic, energy-filled setting in which evolves "a person with true passion" or the Super Human that is George Russell.
The NFT is bundled with Russell's real-life lid and the package will be available for auction via the FTX cryptocurrency exchange platform.
And for good measure, all proceeds from the auction will be split between Ignite - the joint charitable initiative from Mercedes-AMG Petronas and Mission44 - and the Spinal Injuries Association, in honour of Sir Frank Williams.
