During a winter break from the demanding world of Formula 1, the late great Ayrton Senna found himself back home in Brazil for some much-needed down time and family time.
The three-time world champion was always happy to share his passion and expertise with the next generation of aspiring young racers.
But at the time, taking aside his 9-year-old nephew Bruno for a private karting lesson was all about ensuring the Senna family’s legacy.
Needless to say, a wide-eyed and eager Bruno Senna, who went on to race in F1 between 2010 and 2012, soaked up every bit of knowledge and guidance from his iconic uncle, mentor and role model.
