Alpine unveils striking ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ livery for Belgian GP

Alpine is clawing its way into next weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix with a striking one-off livery on its A524 inspired by the highly anticipated superhero movie, Deadpool & Wolverine.

Shedding their usual blue – or pink – hues, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon will showcase a spectacular display of red and black, accentuated by ferocious yellow claw marks.

This fierce design pays homage to the two iconic Marvel characters – Deadpool and Wolverine – dominating the silver screen.

But the scheme isn’t just a cosmetic change for the Enstone squad. It's a nod to a key player behind the scenes at Alpine. Deadpool himself, portrayed by actor Ryan Reynolds, was instrumental in securing a €200 million cash injection for the team last year. This investment fueled Alpine's ambitions to climb the ranks of Formula 1.

Amid a dismal period of performance for Alpine, one hopes the bold aesthetic transformation will also help turn the French outfit’s fortunes around.
