Grosjean’s first trip to the F1 podium

Romain Grosjean’s third-place finish at the 2012 Bahrain Grand Prix happened four years ago on this date. Not only was it the Frenchman’s maiden podium in his F1 career, it also ended a 14-year top-three drought for his country, since Jean Alesi’s P3 at a chaotic 1998 Belgian Grand Prix
