With his piercing gaze and iconic McLaren overalls, Brazilian actor Gabriel Leone fully channels Ayrton Senna in Netflix's upcoming mini-series.

The yellow helmet, a symbol of Senna’s fearless spirit and national pride, completes the transformation. Get ready to relive the legend this fall.

Netflix's highly anticipated ‘Senna’, starring Leone, is set to premier on November 29. The six-episode miniseries takes us on a high-octane journey through the life of the three-time Formula 1 world champion, from his meteoric rise to his heart-wrenching final race.

Packed with an ensemble cast portraying key figures who shaped Ayrton’s world both on and off the track, the series promises to be a thrilling rendition of the life and times of one of Grand Prix racing’s all-time greats.

In the meantime, Netflix has stirred excitement by dropping the first set of images - and a teaser, giving fans a glimpse of the actors bringing this story to life. Alongside Leone, Matt Mella takes on the role of Alain Prost, Senna’s iconic rival, with Johannes Heinrichs stepping into the shoes of Niki Lauda, and Hugo Bonemer portraying fellow Brazilian F1 star Nelson Piquet.

The tension and epic rivalries of F1’s golden era have apparently been captured in vivid detail. So, prepare to buckle up for a ride through the highs and lows of a racing icon.

He was an early contributor to the monthly French F1i Magazine, often providing a historic or business perspective on Formula 1's affairs. In 2012, he co-authored along with fellow journalist Pierre Van Vliet the English-language adaptation of a limited edition book devoted to the great Belgian driver Jacky Ickx. He also authored "The American Legacy in Formula 1", a book which recounts the trials and tribulations of American drivers in Grand Prix racing. Phillip is also a commentator for Belgian broadcaster Be.TV for the US Indycar series.
