Promise made, promise kept! Liam Lawson said he’d perform on stage this weekend in Austin, and Thursday evening he did just that, much to the enjoyment of the local fans.
The Racing Bulls charger took to the stage at the Inn Cahoots for a killer set. Accompanied by several close friends, Lawson delivered a resounding success of a show, proving that his talents go way beyond the racetrack.
In doing so, the Kiwi driver officially made F1 history, becoming the very first driver to throw down a full concert and compete in a Grand Prix on the exact same weekend.
Most drivers spend Thursday night obsessing over telemetry, but Lawson preferred serenading a packed crowd and setting the ultimate vibe for Austin.
If his pace on track matches his rhythm on stage, the grid better watch out – because this weekend, Lawson is orchestrating the show!
