Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button are not the only drivers to have secured their maiden Formula One win at the Hungaroring in recent years. Heikki Kovalainen also tasted victory for the first time in Budapest when he claimed the 2008 Hungarian Grand Prix for McLaren. While Alonso and Button have gone on to become world champion, the Finn would never return to the top step of the podium.
