GP3 title launches Ocon into F1

Today's headlines are all about the arrival of French teenager Eseteban Ocon at Manor Racing, taking over the race seat there from Rio Haryanto for the remainder of the season.

Although he's been spending this season competing in DTM while serving as Renault's Formula One test driver, Ocon made his initial claim to the Manor seat by the exciting way he claimed the 2015 GP3 Series championship in a nail-biting fight to the finish with Luca Ghiotto.

Here's Ocon celebrating clinching the title with the ART team at Abu Dhabi last November. Did he know that day he was only a few months away from becoming a full-time Formula One driver?
