Romain Grosjean was confirmed as Haas F1 Team’s first driver on this date 12 months ago. This was a bold move from the Frenchman to join the fledgling US team when Renault was about to take over Lotus. But the gamble has paid off so far, with Grosjean scoring 28 points ahead of this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix against only seven for the returning French manufacturer.
