Force India's Sergio Perez swapped transportation in the build-up to the United States Grand Prix this weekend, and was ready to take to the skies in this vintage airplane in place of his usual 21st century Formula One car.

We're not entirely sure about his fashion choice however, which seems to be somewhere halfway between Biggles, Top Gun and beach wear. In terms of sartorial elegance, his teammate Nico Hulkenberg definitely seemed to have the edge with his choice of Texas bandit casual attire...

He worked for many years in magazine production at Bauer Media, and for over a decade he was part of the digital media team at the UK government's communications department.
