Alonso wins the Internet in Brazil GP quali

In a season of toils and woes for McLaren-Honda, Fernando Alonso showed he had not lost his sense of humour during qualifying for the 2015 Brazilian Grand Prix, which took place on this date one year ago.

After suffering yet another failure, the Spaniard simply decided to enjoy the rest of the session from a deckchair he had found trackside. The image went viral under the #PlacesAlonsoWouldRatherBe hashtag, which made a glorious return during this year’s edition when Alonso turned FOM cameraman in FP2.
