While celebrating the achievements of the motorsport season, the Autosport Awards also provide the opportunity for a young driver to further their career. Lando Norris became the 2016 winner of the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award, which will see him receive a test in a McLaren-Honda next year. The 17-year-old already has four single-seater titles under his belt - MSA Formula, Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand, Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula Renault NEC - and is set to race in F3 next year. Remember the name.
