Nico Rosberg’s start to the 2015 season has been solid, albeit unspectacular. Having secured two podium finishes in as many events, the Mercedes driver is sitting third in the Drivers’ standings, 10 points adrift of team-mate and reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton. Admittedly, this remains a small margin and Rosberg still has plenty of opportunities - 17 races - to close the gap. But the 29-year-old German has been showing “worrying signs” to borrow 13-time grand prix winner David Coulthard's words. While Rosberg has always been portrayed as the analytical and cool-under-pressure driver compared to the gung-ho Hamilton, the 2014 runner-up appeared a bit lost during the first two races, asking for information and advice over the radio. What’s more, Rosberg has yet to match Hamilton’s pace in both qualifying and race conditions this year. Will he be able to start turning the tide in China next week?
