Lord Hesketh's eponymous team scored its only F1 victory on this day in 1975, winning the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort with the Harvey Postlewaite-designed Hesketh 308B and the flamboyant James Hunt.
It was also of course the British driver's maiden Grand Prix triumph, achieved after holding off Niki Lauda's mighty Ferrari for the better part of the race's 75 laps.
The following year, Hunt would move on to McLaren and win the world title by a single point from the valiant Mr. Lauda.
