Nico Hülkenberg (retired) : 7/10

Dealing with less than ideal balance, the lanky German couldn’t get the Renault into Q3 qualifying. But penalties to the McLaren boys moved him to P10 for the start. Overtaken by Magnussen when the lights went out, Nico was still in the hunt for eighth or ninth place until his gearbox gave way far too early in the race.
