Tech F1i - Canadian GP Analysis

COST CONTROL

The fast development pace triggered by this year’s fresh aero regulations has led to rising costs, with teams turning to modular solutions. Above is a picture showing the Haas F1 Team and the various designs of front wing flaps (see yellow arrows) it can use depending on the circuit.

The above technical review is not an exhaustive list. One could also mention the adjustments made on the Toro Rosso front wing, the minor tweaks on the Renault R.S.17’s floor, McLaren’s revised rear-view mirrors, etc.
