Hamilton has become a much more relaxed driver after his second world title and displayed his confidence throughout this weekend. Unfazed by Friday’s lack of running following Mercedes’ problems in Singapore, Hamilton - who retired from last week’s race - failed to get the most out of his first lap in Q3 and was beaten to pole by Rosberg. It was a trend last season, but Hamilton ensured he led by Turn 2 with a robust but fair move and victory was never in doubt from that moment on.
