After his woeful performance down under, Bottas was back on form in Sakhir. He bested Hamilton in qualifying and made quick work of Räikkönen at the start. It didn’t appear he had the momentum to challenge Vettel until the Ferrari's tyres gave in. It was close but just not close enough however for Valtteri.
