Nico did well to advance to the Top Ten shootout, but was all the same edged by the guy on the other side of the Renault garage. The Hulk started strong, overtaking Sainz, but his race was cut-short on lap 11 with a huge plume of white smoke coming out of the back of the RS 18 signaling that his game was over.
