Romain Grosjean (Retired, L29): 6.5/10
There's no doubt that Haas were in strong form this weekend, and Romain Grosjean was running in a confident sixth place before the pit stop sequence. And just as it had been last year, it was the pit stop that proved his undoing. The stop itself was painfully long as the crew struggled to fit the left-front tyre properly. And once he went back out, it quickly turned out that they hadn't managed to do it after all and for the second year running Grosjean was out of the Australian Grand Prix due to a lack of optimal wheels on his wagon. It's a shame because without the error is seems likely that Grosjean and his team mate were on for a double points finish in Melbourne, in which case we would have definitely bumped up his rating by a full additional point.
