Unfinished business

The curtain will come down on another Formula One season this weekend in Abu Dhabi, and the situation heading into the final race is a far cry from 12 months ago. With the drivers’ title on the line in 2014, this year sees the top three positions already confirmed, with Lewis Hamilton having wrapped up the championship with three races still to run and Nico Rosberg securing second last time out in Brazil.

The constructors’ championship is a similar story, with the top five positions all cemented and perhaps only Red Bull not having had a celebration at some point for achieving the aim it set out to this season.

However, the final race still carries plenty of weight for some teams and drivers, with lower constructors’ championship positions - and the prize money that comes with it - still to be decided, while there are personal battles to be won and lost in the drivers’ standings.

Here, F1i gives you a rundown of the remaining fights which will conclude at the Yas Marina Circuit this weekend.
