F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2019 Mexican GP

Lance Stroll (P12): 6.5/10
Lance Stroll was consistently inconsistent in Mexico, bouncing around all over the place in the timings. He was just 16th in FP1 - although that was still better than Sergio Perez on that occasion - but jumped up to 11th in the afternoon standings, and was still a decent 13th on Saturday morning. But once again he missed the cut at the end of the first round of qualifying - a consistent failing for the Canadian this season - which left him in 16th place on the grid. But from there he got a strong start and made excellent progress in an extended first stint on medium tyres that saw him climbing to seventh place and looking set to reap a good haul of points. But the change to the hard compound didn't suit the Racing Point nearly so well, and despite clinging on to tenth for a long spell in the second half of the race he was ultimately pushed aside in the closing laps by the Toro Rossos of Daniil Kvyat and Pierre Gasly, meaning he was denied the prize after all.
