Chinese Grand Prix

Away from the front of the field there were a number of good battles during the Chinese Grand Prix as drivers with good race pace fought through. One such mover was Verstappen, who showed immense confidence on the brakes - something which would go on to become a trademark of Verstappen this season -  to succeed with a robust move on Marcus Ericsson in to the Turn 14 hairpin. It was an excellently executed late manoeuvre which required the cooperation of the Sauber driver to avoid contact, with the element of surprise a key part of pulling it off.
