3 – CAMERA MOUNTS
According to Article 20.3.2, any part used to support the cameras must not exceed 15mm in width, as to prevent teams from using these mountings for aerodynamic purposes.
2017 will see the banning of the slender vertical pillars used to make the camera pods’ locations comply with the regulations, thus forcing Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull to change their current designs.
