Any F1 cockpit must feature “two shoulder straps, one abdominal strap and two straps between the legs. These straps must be securely fixed to the car and must comply with FIA standard 8853/98” (article 14.4).
The red lightning bolt on a blue background shows the mandatory master switch (article 14.2). “The driver, when seated normally with the safety belts fastened and the steering wheel in place, must be able to cut off the electrical circuits to the ignition, all fuel pumps and the rear light” by using that switch.
