Esteban Ocon (Sprint P11, GP DNF - Lap 7): 6/10
A decent job on Friday saw Esteban Ocon secure a fourth row grid start for the Grand Prix in the Alpine. But after that nothing really came together for the Frenchman. He missed the final cut in the Sprint Showdown which essentially cost him any chance of points on Saturday, and a collision with Oscar Piastri on the first lap of Sunday's race forced him to retire with sidepod damage before he could really show what he could do in the weekend's main event.
Oscar Piastri (Sprint P10, GP DNF - Lap 11): 5.5/10
After his stunning performance in Qatar, Oscar Piastri was thoroughly anonymous this week at the Circuit of the Americas. He scraped though to the final round of qualifying on Friday, but wasn't able to do much in the race after he collided with Esteban Ocon on the first lap and developed a terminal water leak. He had a better time in the Sprint Showdown on Saturday and started from fifth but again had a first lap incident, this time with Carlos Sainz, that left him struggling down in tenth place. One to forget for the Aussie.
