Under the skin of the Haas VF-16

F1-Haas-under the skin-4

NEARLY A CARBON COPY

If the Haas’ front bulkhead is made out of aluminium when the Ferrari’s is carbon-made, that’s the only difference between both cars in that area. Indeed, the steering rack, the fluid brake reservoirs and their master cylinders, as well as the electronics are identical. This is quite logical given the fact that all these components belonged to the ‘unlisted parts’, namely Haas does not have to manufacture them to be considered an F1 constructor and can buy these elements directly from Ferrari.
