Max Verstappen - 4th place, 12 points - 8/10
Verstappen provided Red Bull with proof he will cause them headaches this season, but in a good way. A strong start saw him jump team-mate Ricciardo and run third on the road, holding off his team-mate during the opening stint. Verstappen was told not to hold Ricciardo up and started to pull away slightly before the first round of stops, then was quicker on the soft tyre in the second stint. Red Bull struggled with tyre degradation which allowed Bottas to get ahead but Verstappen defended excellently from Rosberg in the closing laps to retain fourth.
