Lewis Hamilton - 1st place, 25 points - 8/10

Not Hamilton’s finest race weekend but definitely one of his most dramatic victories. Looked out of sorts on Friday and admitted he just wasn’t quick enough on the Red Bull Ring. Qualifying came towards him and excelled in difficult conditions but then strategy and pace saw him behind team-mate Nico Rosberg for the second half of the race. Rosberg’s slight error at the start of the final lap offered a chance and Hamilton pounced, attacking round the outside of Turn 2 and escaping the worst of the damage as the pair collided. A potentially vital win.
