Nico Rosberg - 3rd place, 15 points - 8/10
While his luck was in in terms of the championship picture, Rosberg’s luck was out when it comes to winning the race. A solid start saw him slot in behind Hamilton at Turn 1 before Vettel clouted his right rear and spun the Mercedes. Dropping to the back, Rosberg had a mountain to climb but was in an aggressive mood and fought quickly through the field. His approach was epitomised by the robust pass on Raikkonen which ultimately earned him a penalty but Rosberg at least was decisive. Fourth looked like being as good as it would get before Hamilton’s misfortune strengthened his championship lead.
