Valtteri Bottas - 5th place, 10 points - 8.5/10
In such a close battle with Force India, Bottas’ drive was crucial without team-mate Massa in the mix. An error in Q2 saw him drop out in 11th but it proved a blessing in disguise as Williams started the Finn on the medium compound tyre and completed a one-stop strategy despite the high temperatures. Successfully completing a 29-lap opening stint was key and Bottas managed the tyres excellently while also delivering strong pace, keeping Perez out of DRS range in the closing laps.
