Nico Hulkenberg - 8th place, 4 points - 7.5/10
Unlike his team-mate, Hulkenberg received no help from the Ferrari grid penalties and was outqualified by Grosjean in the Haas after a tricky Saturday. However, his start was excellent, climbing to sixth and keeping Ricciardo honest while holding off Raikkonen and Hamilton for a spell. As his tyres dropped off, Hulkenberg slipped back but was as sensible as Perez in picking his battles. The highlight was a move on Bottas which saw him get the Williams at the chicane and follow it with a team radio message of: “See ya later!”
