Toro Rosso boss Franz Tost is still open to rebranding the team's Renault engine in a scheme similar to what senior outfit Red Bull Racing has done.
This year's FIA Formula 1 entry list lists Toro Rosso's engine supplier as 'TBC', an apparent sign that the Faenza squad is looking for a commercial deal associated with its power unit.
"Some companies are interested in buying the name," Franz Tost told Speed Week. "As soon as we conclude a contract, we will change the name."
Last season, following an acrimonious relationship and several public spats with engine partner Renault, Red Bull kept its partnership with the French manufacturer.
It rebranded the engine TAG-Heuer however after securing a deal with its the watch maker and team sponsor.
