Force India's Green amazed by 'incredible' Ocon

Force India tech boss Andy Green assesses new recruit Esteban Ocon as a mega talent, praising the young Frenchman's ability to learn.

Ocon delighted Force India on his debut with Vijay Mallya's outfit in Australia, bringing himself home tenth to complete a double-points finish for the Silverstone-base outfit.

Speaking exclusively to F1i, Green says he has been mighty impressed so far by the 20-year-old's skill-set and his faculty to adapt.

"What a talent!", enthused Force India's tech boss.

"Esteban's faculty to learn and understand is incredible for his age. I really have high hopes for him."

"In a few races, when he'll be settled in, when he'll be used to how we work and familiar with the car and the tyres, he'll be real asset for the team.

"I am really looking forward to letting off the leash, because I see a real potential in him."

On his side of the garage, Ocon is working this year with Nico Hulkenberg's former race engineer, Brad Joyce, who will help with the young charger's development.
