Mercedes has revealed the FIA's new mandatory format for Formula 1's racing numbers which will be introduced at this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.
The governing body is imposing a new set of minimum requirements for car numbers and driver names to provide better identification for fans.
The German team has cleverly exploited the extra real estate offered by the W08's shark fin to display the number/name combo, while the number on the front of the car has also been increased.
