Hardly a scoop but the FIA stewards officially notified McLaren that both Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne have been handed a 15-place grid penalty for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Both McLaren-Honda cars' power unit have received a sixth turbocharger and MGU-H element, a move which exceeds the authorised allocation limited to four components for the season.
Barring any penalties inflicted to their rivals, it is likely that both drivers will line up side-by-side on Sunday's grid in Baku.
