Renault Academy member and GP3 racer Jack Aitken has been handed an F1 test by the French manufacturer this week at Jerez.
The 21-year-old British-Korean driver, who is currently second in the GP3 standings with two rounds to go, will enjoy a full day in Spain behind the wheel of a 2012-spec Lotus E20.
"I'm hugely grateful to Renault Sport and the Academy for giving me this opportunity, my first ever run in a Formula 1 car," said Aitken.
"I know Jerez from racing there in Formula Renault so I'm looking forward to getting comfortable in the E20 and really having some fun."
Aitken, who has taken one win in GP3 this season, joined the Renault Academy program at the start of the 2016 season.
