Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams and her husband Mark Harris have welcomed a baby boy into their family.

The couple broke the news of the arrival of Nathaniel Louis Harris on the team's Twitter account. Nate was born at 10:30AM on Tuesday, October 10.

Williams Racing's Twitter feed added, "Mum and baby doing wel!!"

Claire Williams scheduled a prolonged absence from the paddockl after the Italian Grand Prix to focus on his pregnancy and subsequent maternity leave.

Williams deputy team principal will be in the paddock for the start of the 2018 season.
