Weber wants the truth from the Schumacher family!

Willy Weber, Michael Schumacher's former manager, believes the family of the F1 great should reveal the truth to his millions of fans.

It's been almost four years since the skiing accident which incapacitated the seven-time world champion, and details regarding his condition are scarce as the family observes a total information blackout.

There have been rumors of Schumacher's transfer to a clinic in the US, with hopes of improving his health, but the story was quickly denied by the family's spokesperson, Sabine Kehm.

Willi Weber says however that confusion has now prevailed, and he blames the great German's family and current management.

"I find it very unfortunate that Michael's fans do not know about his health," Weber told Munich-based newspaper TZ.

"Why are they not being told the truth?" he asked.

Weber, who was speaking shortly after undergoing a back operation, also gave his two cents on the current state of Formula 1's affairs.

"Formula 1 is just like my back now -- painful," he said.

"It is now a Mickey Mouse show and nothing else. The sport has gone into the background," said Weber.
